Đặc biệt là ở Việt Nam - với tiêu chuẩn về vẻ đẹp hạn hẹp— nói rằng chúng mình phải nhìn một cách nhất định để được coi là “đẹp”. Vậy nên, nhiều lúc chúng mình có gặp những khó khăn để cảm thấy mình đẹp và vừa vặn với khuôn mẫu mà xã hội đưa ra. Tuy có những lời nói rằng một người phụ nữ phải ở trong khuôn mẫu đó mới được coi là “xinh đẹp”, chúng mình phản bác định kiến đó. It took me 1 year to learn the most basic things: what is tattooing and how to hold the camera, differentiating between machines, needles, ... then I opened my own shop and took some advanced courses to improve my skills for 3 years. I am currently a tattoo artist at Another Tattoo Xuan Dieu. However, I'm still in the process of learning and finding my own style and color. It's a bit funny why I chose to become a tattoo artist. I studied for the entrance exam to a fine arts school,the most competitive major. I was determined to get in, but that year I failed. It was really sad and disappointing, so I dropped out of university and applied to Tats Studio (also Another Tattoo now). I always have the mindset that this is my body, and I only have one life so why not do the things I like, of course when I have enough thought and maturity to be responsible for those decisions. Mình đã đến với nghề xăm được 4 năm , trong đó 1 năm học việc. Nói về chặng đường để trở thành 1 tattoo artist thì n khá là dài so với mình. Việc tại sao mình lại chọn trở thành nghệ sĩ xăm mình nó hơi buồn cười chút. Mình ôn thi vào 1 trường Mỹ Thuật, khoa cao điểm nhất và chỉ đăng ký duy nhất 1 nguyện vọng. Kiểu quyết tâm luôn ấy, nhưng năm đó mình bị trượt. Thực sự rất buồn và thất vọng, nên mình bỏ không học đại học nữa mà xin học tại Tats Studio (cũng chính là Another Tattoo bây giờ).
