Pretty And I Know It

“Pretty And I Know It” — the message we want to send through this photoshoot. Especially in Vietnam— with narrow beauty standards— we struggle to feel beautiful and to fit in. While some would say that womxn have to look a certain way to be considered “pretty”, we would argue otherwise. We think that every womxn is beautiful in their own way, and this is proof of that.
Here, we featured six different Vietnamese womxn that are different in many ways, including backgrounds and sizes. They’re dressed in a simple white top and jeans— all while looking stunning and happy. Through this, we want to showcase the beauty of Viet womxn of all sizes and backgrounds, proving that we are beautiful and we have the right to feel it— even when society tells us a different story from time to time.
